Reaching the local community

In sharing the lessons with the wider community, Rebekah and Sakunthala felt it was important focusing on individual stories rather than statistics from the Holocaust. They designed posters to use in conjunction with their presentation to help convey their message.

"Our main aim was to take the numbers out of the Holocaust and focus on the names of individuals who died and how they were just like us. All human beings are individual, unique and whilst individual human beings can bring about things like the Holocaust, we as individuals have the power to prevent it."
